About the ward

No paper ballot this year

Every eligible voter receives a Voter Information Letter in the mail. It contains your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and the instructions for voting by internet or telephone. Keep it somewhere safe. You cannot vote without the PIN.

The Township has not published the internet voting website or the telephone voting number yet. Both will be in your Voter Information Letter, and this page will be updated as soon as they are announced.

until voting opens on Tuesday, October 13, 2026

Ward 1 elects two Councillors, so you vote for two candidates. There are no paper ballots: it is internet and telephone only, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm each day.

An engineer, not a politician

I am an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by trade. My career began in the Canadian Armed Forces.

I have worked around the world, managed maintenance departments, and for 12 years owned and operated a business at the Carp Airport. That work taught me the importance of staying inside a budget, which is what I intend to bring to Council.
